Inversion of If Clauses (Omitting If)

Type I

Bu yapıda devrik cümle yapabilmek için “Should +Özne” kullanılır. Anlamda bir değişiklik olmaz.

If we go by train, it will be cheaper.            

Should we go by train, it will be cheaper. 

If he doesn’t hurry, he will be late.   

Should he not hurry, he will be late.

If the weather is rainy, we will stay at home. 

Should the weather be rainy, we will stay at home. 

If she goes to The USA, she can improve her English.

Should she go to The USA, she can improve her English.

 
Type II

Bu yapıda devrik cümle yapabilmek için be fiili için “were +Özne” kullanılır ve diğer fiiller için ise “were +Özne + to do” kullanılır.

If I were a carpenter, I would build my own house.

Were I a carpenter, I would build my own house.

If I had a map I would lend it to you.     

Were I to have a map I would lend it to you.  

If he didn’t study more, he wouldn’t pass the exam.                 

Were he not to study more, he wouldn’t pass the exam.  

I would lower taxes if I were the President.                 

Were I the president I would lower taxes

I would lower taxes were I the President.  (Not: genelde cümle başında kullanılır.)         

 
Type III

Bu yapıda devrik cümle yapabilmek için “Had +Özne” kullanılır

If you had told me, I could have helped you. 

Had you told me, I could have helped you. 

If the teacher had helped me, I wouldn’t have had to go the library. 

Had the teacher helped me, I wouldn’t have had to go the library. 

If they had informed me before, they wouldn’t have still been waitingthere. 

Had they informed me before, they wouldn’t have still been waitingthere. 

If I hadn’t had to get up early this morning, I would have slept more .

Had I not had to get up early this morning, I would have slept more .

Complex Object/Mürəkkəb tamamlıq

İsim/Obyekt əvəzliyi + Məsdər = Mürəkkəb tamamlıq və ya tamamlıq-məsdər tərkibi (Complex Object) və əsasən arzu,xahiş,əmr,fərziyyə,icazə,qavrayış mənalarını ifadə edən fellərdən sonra işlənir. Mübtəda + Xəbər + Mürəkkəb tamamlıq + Digər üzvlər : I want you to go home Əmr cümləsində ; Xəbər + Mürəkkəb tamamlıq + Digər üzvlər : Let me drink my tea Mürəkkəb tamamlıqda ikinci fel ya "to"lu, ya "ing"li, ya da ki sadə formada olmalıdır. Bunlar isə əsas felə bağlıdır. Gerund/Cerund

Gerund felin sonuna "ing" artırmaqla düzəlir : to go --> going - getmək,gediş,getməyin... və s. Gerund həm isim, həm də felin xüsusiyyətlərinə malikdir. İsim xüsusiyyərləri : Mübtəda,tamamlıq və prediativ (ismi xəbərin ad hissəsi) kimi işlənə bilir : Making people happy is my aim - İnsanları xoşbəxt etmək mənim amalımdır. ; He likes telling funny stories - O, gülməli hekayələr danışmağı xoşlayır. ; His favourite habit is collecting stamps - Sevimli məşğuliyyəti marka toplamaqdır. Gerund sözönü ilə işlənə bilir : There are other ways of doing it - Bunu etməyin digər yolları var. Gerund yiyəlik əvəzliyi və ya yiyəlik halında olan isimlə təyin olunur : His signing impressed me greatly - Onun oxumağı məni çox mütəəssir etdi.
